Highlights

Three things it does well

  • Built for first money

Six stages carry a child from telling a coin from a note to catching a wrong change, each one a single new idea rather than a wall of rules.

  • Toy money, real skills

Every coin and note is stylised play money, never a real banknote design, dragged into place by hand to pay the exact price.

  • No pressure, no account

No timers, no sign-in, no lives to lose. Progress and coins live on the device, and a shop of basket skins is purely for fun.

About

What Kembalian is

Kembalian teaches children the shape of money through a toy warung, one stage at a time: recognise coins and notes, count how much is in hand, pay the exact amount, judge whether what's in hand is enough ("cukup nggak?"), make change, and finally check Bu Meong's change — which is sometimes wrong on purpose, so a child has to actually look rather than just trust the cat.

Every price is stylised toy money, never a real banknote or coin design, paid by dragging notes and coins onto the counter until the total lands exactly right. There are no accounts and no timers working against a child who is still counting. Coins earned by playing unlock new basket skins, purely cosmetic, and a daily "Belanja kilat" round offers a few extra coins without any pressure.

  • Six stages, one money skill at a time

Recognise coins and notes, count money, pay the exact amount, judge whether it's enough, make change, and check the change you're given — each stage unlocks once the last one is comfortable.

  • Drag to pay

Notes and coins drag onto the counter one at a time until the total matches the price — no typing, no multiple choice.

  • Bu Meong keeps you honest

The shopkeeper cat sometimes hands back the wrong change on purpose, so a child learns to check the change rather than just pocket it.

  • Basket skins

Coins earned by playing unlock new shopping baskets — purely cosmetic, never a gate on the lessons.
